Bright Lights

When we went to Copenhagen earlier this year, I planned on visiting a few interior design shops such a HAY, Illums Bolighus, Normann Copenhagen, Ferm Living, etc... Well, let me tell you, it was an agony to go in there and not being able to afford anything.
We've seen the most beautiful rugs, tables, chairs, sofas and lights. Oh the lights... Copper, metallic, neon, mid-century chandelier, they had them all!

When we stayed in an Airbnb room in Malmo, we were stunned by the beauty of the flat and the furniture, especially their Gino Sarfatti chandelier. A stunning piece of art!

Secrets Berbères

These Moroccan rugs are attracting my attention a lot lately. There are a few types coming from different tribes and folklores. The Beni Ouarain is by far my favourite, what a killer rug! The Boucherouite and the Killim are stunning types too, although too colourful for my taste.

The question is, where to find the perfect rug? There are plenty of online shops where you can find them, but I always question their authenticity. But then, I stumbled across this website Secrets Berbères, where they sell wholesome and beautiful authentic rugs from Morocco.

I have to admit, the website is also stunning which can also influence the designer in me!

What I like about this shop is that they scout around the atlas mountains and the rest of Morocco to find unique pieces and provide work to local craftsmen.

I am definitely saving some pennies to get my hands on one of them!
